A Rare but Mandatory Update

So I've applied to 7 colleges...
University of Oregon, University of Maryland College Park, University of Pittsburgh, University of Washington, Michigan State University, Ursinus College, and Virginia Tech.

All of these applications are still incomplete... the only step(s) left in completing all of them are the essay (if they require one), the application fees, and SAT scores. All else (recommendations and forms etc) are done. I can't drag myself to finish an essay yet because I'm not confident enough that anything I write will prove myself any more worthy of anyone's acceptance. Payment for wherever I go is also mildly troubling... I have a handful of scholarships I'm eligible for, but all require essays... heh.

Mother's had a really rough slope recently... her rare and painful muscle spasms returned, and struck 3 times. And after giving her TONS of muscle relaxants and pain relievers to alleviate them, she wet her bed 3 times. Thankfully we avoided it this morning. She's also become extremely irrate over nothing, swearing at both me and my father, and renouncing any trust in either of us. She's also become delirious, imagining mice, open doors and windows, and completely losing her perception of position within her own room. She screams at us to help her walk, and even though we (and her physical therapist) remind her she's in no shape to try, she calls in a frenzy for hours with the same demand.

On the bright side... I get to leave Saturday.
